Field trip to MANGO medows

As a part of B. Ed curriculum, our college conducted one day field trip to Mango meadows agricultural theme park located in Kottayam district. On October 19 around 6.30 am we began our journey accompanied by our teachers. We had our breakfast at 8.00 am in a restaurant named aaramam. We reached our destination after four and a half hours from there and were briefed on the facilities available. A guide was provided for us to introduce different kinds of trees and plants in the park and other entertaining activities and games over there. There were so many medicinal valued plants and other rare trees. A fish feeding section was introduced to us which holds a myth that the one who feeds the fish get relieved from their past life sins. There was a replica of the Eden garden with the sculpture of Adam and Eve. A small area was occupied with tea plantation and a veterinary farm was also there. PHYSICAL SCIENCE ASSEMBLY  Today our morning assembly was conducted by the Physical Science Department. All the students gathered at the auditorium by 9:30 AM. Femi, with a commanding presence, hosted the assembly. Assembly commenced with Arya's heartfelt prayer  followed by Abin's  pledge.Jyothika then stepped forward, bringing a burst of energy with the latest news updates. Beema's thought of the day sparked introspection, and Parvathy introduced a new word "OBRURATE" which means being stubborn. Then Amarthya took the opportunity to shed light on the global significance of October 11, International Girl Child Day, emphasizing the importance of empowerment and education for girls worldwide. Arya's articulate exposition on Chandrayan 2 transported us into the fascinating world of space exploration.Abin, with his storytelling prowess, wove a moral tale that left an indelible mark on our hearts. For reinforcing the reading skills in college students malayala manorama newspaper conducted a program in our college. The purpose of this program was to promote newspaper reading. The scheme was anchored by Muhsina from English department and welcome speech by Abin, from physical science department. Principal Dr. Deepthi teacher gave the presidential address. She pointed out the importance of newspaper reading and how to adapt in our day to day life. Malayala manorama representatives Jayakumar and Satheesh were participated in the program by a speech. Bhima jewellers sponsored the program and they conducted a lucky draw contest. Five of the participants get selected and got a gift voucher. And also as part of this program they handed over the newspaper to the school representatives. The vote of thanks given by Salma and after the national anthem assembly dispersed.
